Alpha Delta Pi
In November, Alpha Delta Pi at CNU hosted one of our favorite philanthropy events - ADPiHop! We made tons of pancakes and many organizations campus-wide came to support our philanthropy, the Ronald McDonald House, as well as eat all of the pancakes! Pictured are sisters Alex Martinich and Jenna Lowrance.
Huge changes came as well for our chapter - officer elections! We are thrilled to introduce our new EBoard and officers. Be on the lookout over Christmas Break on our Facebook page, Alpha Delta Pi at Christopher Newport University - to meet our new leadership!

Alpha Sigma Alpha
The month of November has been such a fun month for our sisters! We had our Dunkin' Donuts fundraiser for Special Olympics where we raised over $200! Our sisters also enjoyed having semi-formal before Thanksgiving break! Now we are ready to take on finals and go home for the holidays!
This November, the Eta Tau chapter of Delta Gamma was very philanthropic! Our sisters completed a total of 715 community service hours this month, reaching our semester goal! We achieved this by volunteering at the York Convalescent and Rehabilitation Center in Yorktown, assisting with Vision and Hearing Screenings, helping our local Lion’s Club with their various activities, and much more. We loved giving back to our community and our philanthropy, Service for Sight! We also installed our new officers this month! We are so excited to see how they will help our chapter continue to grow. Overall, November was a successful month for the sisters of Eta Tau!
Gamma Phi Beta
This past month Gamma Phi Beta held a philanthropy event, Moonball, to raise money for our philanthropy, Girls. Inc! It was a volleyball tournament that the men's volleyball team won! It was a huge success (two photos attached are from that event). We are now preparing for recruitment!
Phi Mu started out the month of November competing in Alpha Phi Alpha’s Stroll to the Polls fundraiser, and placed third! Shortly after, we held our annual Dance Marathon fundraiser to benefit the Children’s Hospital of the King’s Daughter, but this year we teamed up to do the event with PIKE as well! We raised over $12,000 for the kids! Our Yule Ball themed semi-formal was a blast and was a night full of friends and sisterhood. We can’t wait to see what December will bring!
Zeta Tau Alpha
This month, Zeta Tau Alpha finished off Pinktober, which raises money for our philanthropy, Breast Cancer Education and Awareness, by volunteering with one of our partners, Making Strides Walk with the American Cancer society. We loved being able to meet survivors and help pink out the walk. We also had our last event, Big Man On Campus, with special congratulations to Rico Francis, who represented the sisters of Gamma Phi Beta for winning. Even though Pinktober is over, we can't wait for the spring with more events! We also had a mixer with ROTC, and a fun sisterhood event cheering on the Norfolk Admirals. Although we'll miss our graduating seniors, we are so excited to see what the new semester has in store!
What is this?
The Panhellenic Blog is a way for CNU sororities to share with the community what events and activities they have been doing over the course of the semester. This blog is updated every month from women within each chapter.
