Alpha Delta Phi
Early in February, we had a chapter retreat in Virginia Beach. At our retreat, we unveiled big-little diamond pairs and prides! Later in the month, a group of our sisters attended District Leadership Conference to immerse themselves in all things ADPi. We also had a workshop led by Spencer Hudec in which we discussed our heritage and Macon Magnolia sisterhood with Phi Mu Fraternity. Our sisters have also been very active in participating in other organizations' philanthropy events and we had a great time supporting Ryan D'Ercole, our representative for Alpha Phi's King of Hearts. We are super excited to have our Alpha members go through initiation this coming weekend!

In January we welcomed 37 women into our second ever new member class for the Eta Tau chapter of Delta Gamma! So far this month, they have gone on new member retreat and gotten their bigs! (Picture 1, Picture 2) We also have been volunteering weekly for Meals on Wheels, which sends meals to those in needs, and the York Rehabilitation Center, and the Lion's Club! (Picture 3, Picture 4) On Valentines Day, sisters made the residents of the York Center cards and spent their day playing games and eating pastries with them! (Picture 5) At our first mixer at the semester with Sig Ep we made boxed lunches to give to a local homeless shelter! (Picture 6) We also had a Candy Gram fundraiser in which we raised over 100 dollars for Service for Sight and a Panera Fundraiser at the end of the month!

The month of February brought us Valentine's Day... and Phi Mu's Kissing Booth! Our sisters set up a (Hershey) Kissing Booth in the DSU Breezeway to fund raise for one of our philanthropies, the Children's Hospital of the King's Daughters. We're also enjoying getting to know our new members, and had so much fun during Carnation Sister Week when all of our Phis received their big sisters! For our February sisterhood event, we attended the Legally Blonde musical and all sat in a "Phi Mu section" of seats; we loved seeing such a fantastic show together! Finally, our Spring Break mixer with Psi U was a nice way to relax during midterms and a great start to break. We hope everyone has a restful time off and we'll see you in March!
